*, Hey guys it's Rae here and .... I forgot there was a candle there and, as I was like swinging it back, I was like & quot. Oh god, I'm, probably gonna catch on fire & quot, But anyway welcome back to the world of art.

Tiktok.. Now, if you haven't seen my other videos in the past. This is basically a series where I deep dive into TikTok art trends, art hacks, art challenges, art tips, tricks all that good stuff. And by the way, almost every single creator that I'm featuring today.

They're, all smaller TikTokers so feel free to go check out their videos make their day, and while you're at it, you guys can check out my TikTok as well. And before we get into it guys. I would like to give a huge, huge, huge shout out to today's, sponsor Bowie.

, Just kidding., Just kidding. Just kidding. Today's. Video is sponsored by Native.. Now I recently switched over to Native, because I prefer my deodorants to be more on the natural side. The aluminum-free side.

Native is the only deodorant I have ever found that meets all of my qualifications for what makes a good deodorant they're aluminum-free. Paraben-Free sulfate-free cruelty-free vegan and, unlike other deodorants, that I've used in the past Native, comes with ingredients that I recognize.

, For example, shea butter, coconut oil.. They have a nice texture to them.. They're, not sticky. They dry so quickly.. On their website, they come in a huge selection of scents that you can choose from.

, They smell so incredible, but they're, not overwhelming, and even Bowie thinks they smell good.. The scents that I have. I have lavender and rose.. It smells very fresh, like the mountains., I have the coconut and vanilla this one smells just like summertime and my personal favorite.

I have the eucalyptus and mint.. It smells like fresh eucalyptus in a hot shower and the scent is there even on days where I'm exercising or doing things that are gonna get me really sweaty. I still smell great.

. Their deodorants are a pretty good price. You can get three for 36 dollars, but if you use the link in the description box down below - and you use my code SuperRae - you & # 39. Ll, get three deodorants for 24 dollars.

, That's, 33 percent off.. And if you live in any of these countries that I'm listing here, you get free shipping., So shout out to Native for making this video possible. All right. So the very first video that we're gonna go over today is an art hack from a fellow YouTuber.

, Jackie aka NerdECrafter. Here on YouTube. Guys, I met her in real life once and her cuteness. It's adorable.. She is the tiniest cutest little person with this big old hat and these big old brown eyes.

. Oh, my god, She is so cute. But, more importantly, she's. A very talented crafter here on YouTube. She does a lot of clay, and that includes her TikTok.. I'm about to save you quite a bit of money.. Many of us have seen blending pens that promise gorgeous and seamless gradients, and here's, how you can do that with your already existing collection of alcohol, markers.

Just put one tip on top of the other. It will change slightly like this, and then here you go. You have a gradient that is perfect for small surfaces. You can even take colors that have nothing to do with each other and look how beautiful it is, Go forth and have fun.

( Rae ). Now for this art tip/hack, we're, going to go in with colors that are very, very similar., So, for example, these two reds. They were also gonna, try it out with these color opposites., So green and red.

. Let's. First. Try out the two reds. *Clock ticking*: Oh, they're. Kissing. Look Here's. What the original color is. A really nice, bold red.! Let's, see if it worked. *Gasps*. Oh my gosh! It worked It's, working so good.

Yes, queen Jackie, it is working so good. Now this is my first time ever doing this. So obviously it's, not perfect., But I mean it literally works. So incredible. *Clock ticking*, Let's, see if the color opposites work.

. Oh my god. This is so cool. It's like wizardry magic.. Now when it transitions it's not as smooth, but that's. To be expected. There, it goes back to green. There, it goes. From red all the way to a beautiful, beautiful green.

. Oh my gosh., Yes, Now this next TikToker is called QuiteCurly and I really really enjoy their content. Very, very talented and the art hack is basically a whole entire new way to use hard chalk, pastels, which I have never seen.

Before. Hello here's, a tutorial of what I call dry painting.. So first I just start with my normal pencil mechanical pencil.. Then I put some charcoal on a post-it and grab a paintbrush and just kind of like blend the bigger areas.

The darker areas with different paintbrushes use a little eraser for details.. Oh, my gosh, then more charcoal pencil for dark stuff then blend with a big paintbrush. Paint pen for the highlight, and now there's.

Nothing there that's good, so you add more charcoal and then you blend that, but a little less and then eraser for the little hairs. And then you're, done., Beautiful, just absolutely beautiful work..

So yeah it's kind of like pan pastels, but without the pan. If that makes sense - and I've been wanting to do this technique the moment the moment that I said: Nope Jackie. Jackie. What are you doing? Girl Um but yeah the moment that I saw this video.

I knew I wanted to try out that technique. So yeah, let's, go ahead and try it out. *Music*. Now I just want to say this technique was really fun. I had a great time blending out the skin tone perfectly.

. The only thing is that I struggled a little bit when it came to like the eyes the nose and like getting really really precise, so I ended up using the blending stump anyway.. I definitely recommend trying dry painting.

. I think this technique was really really cool. Now back to the art hacks. This is from a TikTok user named @ DaphLife.. My commentary before it is that why didn't, I think of this. It's such a genius idea that I think, could help literally thousands, maybe millions of artists out there.

So yeah here here we go. If brush hairs stuck to your painting, grab some masking tape.. If you press it up against each hair, it'll, remove it from the painting without removing any paint., Just make sure the painting's.

Dry first., Hello, autofocus, Hello! It's like literally right in front of you. Come on Now in the video she said that she used masking tape, but I don't have masking tape, so instead I'm gonna use. Shipping tape, which is a little bit stronger and it doesn't, have that paper backing as you can see it's like clear.

. You see the hairs right there, That's. What we're gonna wax today, so let's. Do this thing.? Oh! It's working Well kinda.! A few of the hairs are really really embedded in here, so they're, just like under a layer of acrylic.

. Unless you break open that acrylic and go underneath, I highly doubt any tape would be able to take care of that, but it got a mass majority of the hairs that were just lingering on top and what's? Cool about this art hack? Is I can see it being used for not just little hairs, but also pencil and eraser shavings clean up an old dirty canvas.

? This is really really great, but the only thing is be careful with how sticky your tape is, because if you use duct tape, this could happen. Right here I have some gorilla tape.. This is some very hardcore.

Stuff. Check this out., As you can see. Not only did it rip off the little hairs, but it also ripped off some of the paint and the canvas. So just be careful.. Now the next user & # 39, s, name is @ HurricaneSpike and the TikTok is basically how to preserve your brushes that have like dried crusty paint on them.

How to make them soft and usable again, and I know that I'm - a huge offender of not cleaning. My paintbrushes and I know I'm gonna get judged for saying this. But but at one point my brushes were so nasty and dirty just the thought of having to scrub them.

Clean was too much for me, so I went out and I bought brand new paintbrushes to avoid having to clean the nasty ones. That's. How bad they were. So yeah? I'm ashamed.. I'm just gonna focus on these four right now, because they are very offensive to me.

. So I'm going to take fabric softener. Then I'm, going to take some scalding hot mortar water.. I suggest using lukewarm water, but that's, not what I'm gonna use.. I'm, going to pour my fabric softener in it.

. The big brush has to go by itself. It's been soaking for about like 15 minutes. Don't. Get me wrong. They're, still stained all hell and absolutely ugly, but they aren't paint bricks anymore. I can actually use them again.

They're, all soft and so yeah fabric softener.. I get all the dry chunks of paint out of my brushes with fabric softener., So here's. What my brush looks like before.. As you can see, it is NOT looking cute.

Now in a little container, as you can see, we have the fabric softener., Just gonna add a little bit of water. This is lukewarm water.. I love the smell of fabric softener., Oh my god. It smells so good, So yeah I'll, be back in 15 minutes.

. We'll, see how this goes. *Clock ticking*. Now it's been about 25 minutes. Instead of the 15.. I'm gonna give it one. Last little swirl I'm gonna clean. It off. Wipe it down., And here is the final product.

. It's, not perfect, but definitely is a lot cleaner than it was before and, more importantly, it's. A lot softer, which is one of the main components of why dried up brushes don't work, is because there's like crusty paint all over it.

. So this is really really nice.. Oh wait! There's, been a new update, It's, making the old paint come off even more. This hack definitely definitely definitely definitely works. And honestly, while we're at it.

I think I'm gonna clean all my other brushes, because I mean it's here.. Why not? Now we're gonna end this on an extremely cool note.. I have never heard of this. I have never seen this. I've, never seen anybody do it.

When I first saw this TikTok my jaw dropped. And by the way I can't. Remember the user's, name right off the top of my head. So I'll, put it right, here. *Music*! That is absolutely next level., That's.

Some next level stuff. - And I just so happened to go to Walmart to pick up a few shirts. So I can try it for you guys and show you how hard or easy it is. Now. The first thing I'm gonna do is go in with a white chalk pastel and create an outline.

In the video. I think she might have used a colored, pencil or a fabric pen, but it doesn't matter. It's, gonna work, all the exact same. And I'm just gonna add in my little teeny, tiny splash of bleach, just a tiny little bit bloop.

Even that was a little bit too much for this project. *Music*. Now it was very strange because, as I was painting it, wouldn't immediately show the color. You know it would take a few seconds to go in there and lighten up and it's.

So strange because you're. Not gonna see what the full artwork looks like until you like wait for it to completely dry, which was about 30 minutes. *Clock ticking*. And if you want the areas to be super super white, I went over them up to six different times per line.

Just to get that brightness. And the last step was to clean up with an alcohol marker, make it a little bit nicer. Add some nice defined lines., And here, ladies and gentlemen, is the final design.. It came out so incredibly cool and I could see this as a great way for somebody to upcycle their old clothes.

It's, just pure coolness. You know, And this whole entire project was only four dollars.. This is such a genius idea. I highly recommend you guys try this trick out.. I completely forgot to film an outro for this video, but I hope you guys enjoyed the advice, the tips, the tricks.

Please support, all the creators that I mentioned. I will link all of their information down below, as well as my TikTok, playlist and yeah with that being said, guys, thank you so much again for watching, and I will see you next video.
